Shinnoki’s ZERO LINE goes even further when it comes to ecology and environmental health. The Zero Line complies with the strictest norms for air quality, since at no time during the production process, no urea-formaldehyde is added.

The basic panel consists of 18 mm MDF, FSC certified (mixed 70%) and manufactured without formaldehyde containing glues.
In most instances, the veneer wood also is FSC certified ‘controlled wood’.
Some kinds of wood however are not available as FSC wood, in which case only the MDF is FSC wood
The melamine backing also is manufactured without adding any urea
formaldehyde
Glues, colour stains and lacquer are free of formaldehyde

Sustainable forest management is one of the central values within the Decospan group. Also in the development of Shinnoki the environment was a top priority . The veneering technique, and the mixmatch technique, make optimum use of the renewable raw material wood since no veneer is lost.
